Description: All described species of dogrose are shrubs with thin shiny red-brown branches, the nature, shape and size of thorns for different species varies and is a distinctive species trait. Leaves are odd-pinnate, with 5-7 leaves and herbaceous accreted stipules. Flowers are pink or red, more often solitary, less often 2-3 together. Fruits are nuts-shaped, single-seeded, enclosed in spherical or ovoid gipanthii, forming a bright red, round or ovate false fruit. The inner walls of the fetus are covered with hairs, sepals remain on top of the fetus.

Ingredients: rose hips contain ascorbic acid, carotenoids, sugars, flavonoids (kaempferol, quercetin, isokvetsitrin), vitamin E, organic acids and other biologically active substances.
